Safer Schools' Police Officer visit
Posted on: 08/01/2025We were delighted to have PC Steve Rea (our Safer Schools' Police Officer) deliver some excellent assemblies last week on County Lines to Year 10. Students were warned about signs to be aware of in terms of exploitation. In particular, they should not be accepting food, money or any other gifts from other students or youths. In addition, they must never agree to "hold" items for another, particularly items such as vapes, Snus or other substances. All students should be able to tell their parent or carer who their trusted adults are in school. A trusted adult at school is a person who they can see to request a conversation if they are ever worried about anything.
Equally, we hope that they would confide in family and that this information would be shared with us at school, in order to work collaboratively to safeguard them. Please see the attached flyer from the Metropolitan Police.
