Designated Safeguarding Lead and Team
Our Student Support Team are integral to safeguarding our students. Form Tutors and classroom teachers, as well as the entire staff body are well trained to recognise signs or concerns in students. These are reported as appropriate to the relevant Year Co-ordinator or if an immediate safeguarding risk, to one of the Level 3 trained Safeguarding Team:
Ms Sabbagh | Deputy Headteacher Student Support, Designated Safeguarding Lead and Senior Mental Health Lead |
Ms Cullum | Assistant Headteacher Student Support KS4 Y9-Y11, Designated Teacher Key Stage 4 (Maternity cover) |
Mr Suthesh | Assistant Headteacher Student Support KS3 Y7-Y8 and Designated Teacher Key Stage 3 |
Ms Kitchen | Assistant Headteacher Inclusion / SENCo and Designated Teacher Inclusion |
Mr Carter | Assistant Headteacher KS5: Head of 6th Form and Designated Teacher Key Stage 5 |
Mrs O'Hagan | Safeguarding Officer |
Further to making MASH (Multi Agency Support Hub) referrals to the Local Authority to secure outside agency support for students where relevant, we have a wide range of support in school, which are further detailed in the Student Wellbeing section.
