2024 A level Results

Posted on: 15/08/2024

At the end of 7 years for the majority of our A Level students, we would like to send our sincere
congratulations to them on their excellent results: 99% pass rate, 32% of all grades A*/A and 62% of all grades A*/B.  We are delighted for our students, not only for their academic achievements, but also for the strength, resilience and optimism they have shown through what has been a challenging time for young people, in particular the past few years. We could not be more proud of them.

I would also like to extend the utmost thanks to our superb, hardworking staff who have
supported the students throughout their Nower Hill journey, leading to such excellent outcomes
for them and an abundance of exciting opportunities ahead, be that university, apprenticeships or
employment.

We also send our gratitude to the parents and carers of our graduating students who have
supported them unconditionally and worked so collaboratively with us during the last 7 years, as
well as our Governing Board who support the school so well. The success of our young people
requires a community effort, and we feel very fortunate that everyone in our school community is
totally invested in ensuring the achievements and happiness of our students.

The grades that the students have received are a reflection of the hard work, skill and academic
ability that they have demonstrated throughout their time studying for A Levels and are well
deserved. Every student should be proud of what they have achieved and more importantly, of
the resilience that they have demonstrated in maintaining focus and optimism for the future. We
are proud of our young people beyond belief and we send them our thanks for all they have
given to the Nower Hill community and our very best wishes as they progress to the next stage in
their exciting careers. As I leave the school after almost 19 years, may I thank them for the best
possible leaving gift – their success!
