Remembrance at Nower Hill
Posted on: 07/11/2022Each year, we encourage our community to take part in acts of remembrance for the service and sacrifice of those who have defended our freedoms. In school, all year groups will receive assemblies on the theme of remembrance led by the History Department and will take part in a two-minute silence on Friday 11th November at 11.00am.
Students will also be able to support the Royal British Legion’s Poppy Appeal by purchasing a poppy, wristband or stationary from Student Services or their Form Tutor.
On Sunday 13th November, Head Students Niamh Shute and Travis Coward will join Ms Voden to lay a wreath at the Pinner Remembrance Sunday service and 6th Form student Maiya Javia will play the Last Post.
We do hope that you might be able to join us.
