DfE 2022 School Performance Tables for England
Posted on: 07/11/2022Nower Hill High School was delighted to see the publication last week of the Department for Education 2022 School Performance Tables for England, the first post-pandemic tables to be issued. Whilst league tables should always be handled with care - all schools have different contexts and will undoubtedly have been affected differently by the pandemic – the school was absolutely thrilled to note that out of the 3,722 secondary schools listed, and that is all schools, private and selective included, Nower Hill High School was in the top 3% of schools nationally for progress and the top 6% for attainment.
This would be a phenomenal achievement for any school, but given the nature of our local community school: co-educational, truly comprehensive and fully inclusive welcoming all children regardless of ability or background, this is an absolutely outstanding achievement. The school is very proud of its staff and students.
Congratulations Nower Hill!
