A Level Drama - Sam Wanamaker Theatre
Posted on: 02/11/2022The Drama Department at Nower Hill was thrilled to once again be taking part in the ‘Jeremy Lemmon Project’. This project is organised by Harrow School and The Globe, inviting select local secondary schools to participate.
Since June, three of our A-Level Drama students worked incredibly hard on the project, which culminated in a performance of a series of monologues and scenes by Shakespeare, performed in the Sam Wanamaker Playhouse at The Globe on Saturday 25th September.
Mrs Gardner and Mr Taylor were so incredibly proud of Max, Hannah and Zane for their performances at The Globe Theatre. The students were incredibly professional and looked at home on such a prestigious stage!
This project took an incredible amount of time and effort to get it to the standard it was and all three students should be commended for their dedication and maturity in their participation. A standing ovation was quite rightly given at the end of the performance - and I'm sure it will be the first of many for these three students.
