Jack Petchey Award Winners
Posted on: 17/04/2023In March our 2022 Jack Petchey Award winners and their parents and carers attended the Jack Petchey Harrow Schools and Clubs Achievement Award event. 150 award winners from across the borough came together to celebrate their achievements and receive their commemorative medal from Councillor Janet Mote, the Mayor of the London Borough of Harrow. Our 2022 winners have been recognised for reasons ranging from making a great transition to secondary school, showing resilience when faced with challenges, their commitment to extracurricular activities and demonstrating kindness to others.
Each award winner has received a £300 grant that they have spent within the school, including funding visits for their Year group to the HarroWall Climbing Centre, iPads for creative projects in Art and a project that involves learning about the history of Africa before Transatlantic slavery. All students will have a chance to nominate their peers for a 2023 award, so students should check the Whole School Message Board for updates.
