On Monday 14^th November 2022, 40 of our KS5 Chemistry students went to The Emmanuel Centre to attend a day of inspiring Chemistry lectures.

The lecture content included cutting-edge research about rare earth metals, chiral materials, Chemistry in conflict, new materials for green energy and the quantum rainbow. The speakers were engaging and the students thoroughly enjoyed themselves!

Some of our students were brave enough to ask high level questions in front of the whole audience and even spoke to the lecturers about their work during the breaks - we were very impressed with our students' questions and communication skills.
