Les Misérables professional actor’s workshop
Posted on: 25/01/2022Last week, many of our students in preparation for the forthcoming Nower Hill school production of Les Miserables – Schools Edition, had the fantastic opportunity to work with Sam Harrison.
Sam is a highly skilled professional actor who has previously performed in many of the West End’s most prestigious theatre companies and theatres, such as the Royal Shakespeare Company, Shakespeare’s Globe and the London Palladium. Added to this, Sam also performed in the West End’s version of Les Miserables from 2018 to 2019.
Through sharing his expertise, directing many of the lead actors and ensemble, our students vastly improved their physical performances and acting through song. This helped them to cultivate what we anticipate to be a very moving and powerful performance in their production of Les Miserables – Schools Edition, which is due to be performed the first week back after half term (week beginning 21st February).
We are very excited about our forthcoming performance and the students are eager to share their amazing work with you. We do hope you will be able to attend!
