Last week, students from A Level Law, Sociology and Politics attended a joint trip to the Palace of Westminster. Students engaged in a fascinating tour of the Houses of Parliament, Central Lobby and the Monarch’s Robing Room. For both Law and Politics students, this was a valuable opportunity to understand parliamentary sovereignty and the law-making process, while our Sociology students were able to see how social policy is enacted, giving all of them inspiration for future career possibilities.
