STEM “Model Science With Us” Competition

Posted on: 01/11/2022

Nower Hill ran a school-wide STEM competition (“Model with STEM”), open to both KS3 and KS4 students. We were very pleased to have over 60 brilliant entries!

Students were asked to think of a concept/topic which inspired them to learn more about STEM. We had a range of entries, from 3D models of animal and plant cells, to rockets, models of key organs and even a working model of an escalator. We were so proud of the creativity, teamwork and passion shown in the execution of these projects- which are displayed in Science classrooms around the school.

We would especially like to congratulate Cristina (1st place), Jaya (2nd place) and Tiya and Adam (joint 3rd place).

Sixth form STEM ambassadors were so impressed with the fantastic contributions and would like to let all participants know “you have shown such a great passion for STEM! We really hope that in coming years, you are able to see how important STEM is to every aspect of life, and the progression of society! Well done”
