Table Tennis
Posted on: 01/11/2022Well done to both the A and B teams from Nower Hill who finished in first and second place in a tournament alongside Whitmore, Pinner High and Harrow High in the U16 table tennis tournament.
A team consisting of Brett Collins, Agastya Jaisswal, Zak Kupfer and Dillon Kotecha edged out B team consisting of Jamie Waller, Arjan Kundi, Laxman Vanithasan and Janak Shah. All players played fantastically well and represented the school admirably.
In the U14 table tennis tournament at Whitmore, in which we took both the A and B team, the A team came away victorious after drawing with John Lyon in the final but won the match on total points scored. This team consisted of Janak Shah, Yuriko Cis Samuel, Nishil Shah and Rahil Panchmatia. The B team came third place after losing to John Lyon in the semi-finals. This team consisted of George Lam, Liam Andersson, Carl Ampin and Adam Didik. They all played unbelievably well and all went through to the finals tournament in February.
The Year 7 table tennis tournament at Whitmore was some students’ first outing representing the school in a sporting capacity; they came second in the tournament, only losing out to John Lyon. They represented the school excellently and several remarks from other schools teachers were made at how helpful and polite they were. They go on to the finals tournament in February.
