We are delighted to announce Raghav in Year 9, Michael and Darya in Year 11, as The Autumn Term winners of the Jack Petchey Award, which recognises outstanding young people.

Raghav was nominated for his positivity, determination and maturity after suffering a broken leg, and for the contributions he then made to the school’s accessibility policy. Raghav has decided to spend his £300 on improving accessibility around the school.

Michael was nominated for his commitment to extracurricular activities and for showcasing the very best of Nower Hill to families, students and the community. He has decided to spend his £300 on additional extra-curricular resources for the PE department.

Darya has been recognised for her outstanding personal development and being a kind and considerate friend and will spend her £300 with the Drama department, to give more students access to theatrical experiences
