Eight of our most exceptional Year 13 A-level biologists were selected to compete in the ‘British Biology Olympiad’ on Monday 7^th March. This highly challenging competition is designed to recognise excellence in young biologists, develop problem-solving skills and to challenge them in their thinking about biological ideas. Some of the best biology students complete it nationally every year, with more than 10,000 students from over 700 schools taking part this year. Our students really did themselves and us proud. Their outstanding achievements are noted below.
