On Friday 7^th July, a Nower Hill band were the live act at the Year 6 leavers' party at Cannon Lane Primary School. The band, comprising Shreya, Nicola, Jasmine (all Year 13) and Riya (Year 10) played a half-hour, outdoor set which included tracks by Blondie, The White Stripes and Simple Plan. The evening proved a great success in the summer sunshine and was enjoyed by students and staff alike.

Thanks to Ms Patel in Finance, who kindly transported all the band's equipment in the back of her car from Nower Hill to the venue.

Credit to the girls who spent a considerable amount of their free time rehearsing, even during A Level exams. That's commitment!
