Year 7 Football

The Year 7 squads made a positive start to the season in the first Harrow Borough 7 A-side football tournament on Wednesday 12th October 2022, hosted by Nower Hill. We entered 2 teams with the B team finishing 3rd overall, losing in the Semi-finals to the eventual winners. The teams played very well and are looking forward to the next Tournament in November.

Year 8 Football

The Y8s began the season with a very strong, dominating performance. They ran out as 3-1 winners over Avanti House, with Avanti only managing two shots in the entire game. Vicent Agyapong scored Nower Hill’s first; a rocket of a goal after a brilliant solo run. Nicklas Sutherland then scored Nower Hill’s second from the penalty spot after a handball in the area. Ben Waller then finished the scoring with a clever finish into the bottom corner.

Nower Hill should have had many more, but a combination of their goalkeeper making some saves and the crossbar and post coming to Avanti’s rescue three times meant that the score was kept to 3-1. Oyinkro Gbeworo was player of the match.

Year 9 Football

The Year 9 team has had a mixed start to the season, after losing the first match in the Middlesex cup 4-2 to Hatch End despite a good performance and promising signs. This was followed up by a dominant 2-0 win over Avanti House, in which there were several strong performances. One more game before half term see’s them play Park High to get through to the knockouts of the Borough competition.

Year 10 Football

The Year 10 boys’ football team started their Harrow Borough League campaign with a comfortable 3-1 win over Avanti House on Wednesday 12th October, 2022. Goal scorers were Mehdi Al-Mufadal, Daniel Shpendi and Dylan Ssentoogo. Their next match is against Park High on Wednesday 19th October, 2022.

Year 11 Football

The Year 11s started off there campaign excellently with an 8-0 win over Avanti House. All the boys played brilliantly, but special mentions to Bilal and Ethan with 2 goals and Gabriel with a hat trick.

Under 16's Girls Football

The team have made a great start to the Harrow Borough League, winning their first game 5-1 against Whitmore. The girls all remained calm on the ball, creating some fantastic attacking play, and strong tackles made from our defense; Lisa, Anaya, Olivia and Shreeya. Goals from Erin, Anaya, Aisha and Anne Marie.

Year 10 and 11 Netball

The Year 10 and 11 Netball teams started the season this half-term by playing against Hatch End. Both teams were excited for the game and hoping to open their league campaigns with a win.

The Year 10 team played really well after a shaky start and finished with a 15-0 win. Player of the match was Sneha Jain.

The Year 11 team started strongly scoring nine goals in the first 8 minutes and eventually won the game 34-1. Player of the match was Carissa Kumar.
