Results have just been announced for the third annual Whitefriars 6th Form Art Competition, showcasing the talent of Harrow Borough Sixth Form age artists.

Nower Hill students were awarded the two runners’ up prizes of £100 each.

Charlie’s ‘Shelters for Good’ is a photographic and digitally interactive piece and Zia’s ‘Susanne’ is an oil on canvas portrait; two very different pieces that demonstrate the breadth and wealth of visual Art at Nower Hill. Additionally, there are 16 pieces of Artwork by Nower Hill 6th Form students amongst the 28 exhibited works, with a highly commended mention for Alana’s ‘Blackness and Masculinity’, a mixed media painting combining textile college. Many congratulations to our talented young artists.
