Year 7 have been using their knowledge of the stimulus of the true story of Rosa Parks, a key historical figure within the equal rights movement, to explore the core aspects of developing effective characterisation.

In the excellent examples shown Riya has completed two ‘role on the wall’ exercises which focus on exploring the thoughts and emotions that Rosa Parks experienced during the Montgomery Bus incident and the ways in which Riya would use her acting skills to portray the role of Rosa Parks in a performance.
