Year 11 British Physics Olympiad Intermediate Challenge

Posted on: 02/03/2022

On Wednesday 2nd February 2022, 17 of our outstanding physicists in Year 11 were selected to part in the ‘British Physics Olympiad Intermediate Challenge’.

This national competition is very challenging and is aimed specifically at stretching students in their thinking about physics and to develop higher order thinking skills, as well as to encourage students to study physics further. Our students competed with other high achieving physicists, mainly from selective schools, unlike Nower Hill.

The results that our students achieved are exceptional with 15 students achieving higher marks than the national average. Our sincerest congratulations to all of them!
