The Duke of Edinburgh’s Award programme is available for all students from the age of 14 to 24 and is an experience you will value for years to come.

At Nower Hill High School, the Bronze Award is offered to students in Year 10 and in Year 11 there is the option to progress to the Silver Award. It is an extremely rewarding programme to be part of and enables students to develop skills that cannot be taught in the classroom.

The Award encourages students to come together in an exciting and challenging environment where they are able to build confidence, resilience and ability to work as part of a team as well as discovering and developing new talents.

Achieving an award involves making a difference to other people’s lives and your community, developing your physical strength and creating memories to last a lifetime.

Please see the Fronter DofE page for more details.
